During this walk, we will explore the neighborhoods of El Arenal and Triana, which concentrated a large part of Seville's port activity and were key in the commercial relations between Spain and the New World. We will learn about the journey that metals made from their arrival in Seville, their melting, and conversion into coins to be distributed throughout Europe
We will be able to locate where the shipyards and brothels were located and understand the function of the Casa de la Contratación, created to promote navigation with the territories that Spain possessed overseas. All of this without forgetting Triana, where we can discover the imprint left by the intense maritime activity with unique spaces such as the Casa de las Columnas or the Puerto de las Muelas, the only possible docking point from which the city's ships could depart.
